Apple Music/iTunes Match

Hello all.

So here are my questions. If I am a member of Apple Music does that include iTunes Match? I thought I had read that if I have an Apple Music membership, I get all of the benefits of iTunes Match as well. I ask because we are currently paying for both.

Also once I rip a CD to to be added to my iTunes library, does it have to live on my local drive? I thought it would eventually be up in iCloud and no files would need to reside on my Mac?

Thanks in advance.

You don't need both services unless you have an Apple TV 2 or 3 where Apple Music isn't supported but iTunes Match is. Make sure you have a complete backup of your library before allowing Match to expire, just in case there are any hiccups.
