I phone 10 wont turn off

If iPhone isn’t responding, and you can’t turn it off and on, try forcing it to restart.

• All models: Go to Settings  > General > Shut Down, then drag the slider.

iPhone 10 will not shut off tried to turn off . screen is enlarged

If I could slide the switch I could turn it off without the shut down!

the slide function freezes, obviously I can type and point, but can’t slide the off switch
