How do I engage a word counter for documents I write?
I want to write articles, on my IPad Air OR my MAC in a section or App that counts my words used. I know how to put apps on the IPad, not on the Mac. Where can I do that on 5ese devices? Can you help me with instruction?

I don't know what app you're using. You'll need to tell us. Are you using Word? Pages? TextEdit? Something else?
All word processor apps offer word count. For an iPad that includes MS Word, Apple Pages, Google Docs and several 3rd party apps.
