macbook pro overheating

i have a 15 inch macbook pro

latest version of mojave (mid 2018 version)

2.2 GHz Core i7

16 GB DDR4

Radeon Pro 555X

I just watch one 720p youtube video with no other windows or apps open, just the video and it heats up to the temperature of when I'm playing a graphically intensive game. I have restarted my laptop as well as resetting the NVRAM multiple times but it does not work, taking it to the apple store takes too long and I need this laptop for school work. Any tips?

My SSD is quite full with an almost full boot camp partition, is that the problem?

Your computer will shut down before it "overheats".
