iCloud

I bought a new iPhone and all pictures and videos from the old one were transferred automatically to the new one. I didn’t want to have all that stuff in both devices so I deleted everything one the new one. But now there are no pictures or videos on both phones. My question is how can I get back my photos from the ICloud and how can I separate the process of saving photos. I don’t want it to double in both devices. Thank you!

On the phone's Photo app and at iCloud.com/Photos using a computer browser check for a Recently Deleted album.

If you sync both phone's photos to iCloud using the same Apple ID, there isn't a way to keep them on a certain phone, but not have them on the other one. It is an all or nothing sync.
