Shared albums

How do you import photos from a shared album into iPhoto library? I can do it on my iPad but not my MAC

In shared albums , hold shift key tap the first photo and then the last photo all photos will get selected , right click on the first photo and click on import .

Again click on import .

Albums from iPhone can’t be transferred to iPhoto on Mac Does anyone know any kind of work-around to save albums that I’ve created on iPhone to Mac? I can’t use iCloud as it’s too expensive for the amount of photos I have. I just want to transfer directly via cable to Mac. I can of course get all the photos themselves over, but their groupings in albums can’t be preserved as far as I can see. This is mildly-to-extremely irritating. I have literally 50,000+ photos that I need to move and having to reconstruct the albums from scratch by categorising them a second time once they are on the MacBook Air is daunting. Thanks in advance if anyone knows a way to make this work.
