My daughter has a mini ipad where there is an activation lock on, so she can't get into it. She can't remember her Apple ID and password to unlock it, is there a way to do this?

Has she tried : If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support ?

Or, and if you/she were the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. it’s not second-hand), you could try going to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try contacting iTunes Support online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they might help e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it

Hey there! Try heading here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201354 for more information on resetting and if you've forgotten the password. If she happens to remember her Apple ID but not her password, she can reset her password by going here and logging in with her apple ID: https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin (click the link, then on "I forgot Apple ID or Password"). Then you'll be guided through the steps on how to get all sorted out. Hope this helps!
