  1. Launch the Apple Watch app from the Home screen of your iPhone.
  2. Tap the My Watch tab, if you're not already there.
  3. Tap Workout. ... 
  4. Tap Workout View.
  5. Tap the workout you want to customize.
  6. Tap Edit. ... 
  7. Tap the Add button next to the metric you want to include.
  8. Tap Done.
