Apple Cash

Can you add money to Apple Cash using a bank account and routing number instead of a debit card? If not, why not? I have several accounts that don’t have physical debit cards.

You can only add from a debit card or prepaid card - Add money to Apple Cash - Apple Support

As for why, we are fellow users like you and cannot speculate.
