in iTubeDownloader, search for the video you want to download then click Download button
drag the trim handles to the new start and end points
click Trim Button when completed

I don't know about comfort, but I can get Terminal up on screen and see the prompt richmansfield$
I don't know what to do next, though, and how youtube-dl: https://youtube-dl.org will help me scrape part of a video onto my SSD. Is there a tutorial for that somewhere?
Thanks,
Rich
That worked perfectly! Thanks so much.
Rich
If you're comfortable using Terminal, I would recommend using youtube-dl: https://youtube-dl.org
It supports YouTube, Vimeo, and other similar sites.
I just pasted youtube-dl: https://youtube-dl.org into Google, and there are video tutorials there, but they seem to all be for Windows. Don't Mac users want to do this?
