My phone has been searching for service and it displays No Service and i get an error message saying that cellular update failed. Is my phone going dead?

There are other possibilities you should check before assuming your phone needs hardware repair. See If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Wow thats crazy! I wonder if I can get a loaner phone while it gets repaired
