I'm wondering why the Photos app doesn't launch when I double click.

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.14

What happens when you try? Does it bounce or what?

What are you double clicking on? If it's the Photos icon in the Dock try double clicking on the application itself in the Applications folder.

What system and Photos versions are you running?

Where is your Photos library file located?
