My Macbook's sound is not working, the sound is muted and I am unable to uncheck the mute in system preferences and there are no output devices shown when going into sound of the system preferences.
Tried SMC, NVRAM reset, reboot and nothing is working.
Please Help, Thanks.

Maybe to restart in Safe mode may awaken the slumbering bits that aren't
reporting as expected. ~ Perhaps service inspection @ apple is indicated(?)
