Need to free-up storage space on my iMac

I have over 700 iTunes purchased movies and it's beginning to take a hit on my storage space. About 1/3rd of my movies are downloaded instead of being in the cloud, which as you can imagine, is killing my storage. Is there a way to get the downloaded movies back to being in the cloud? Thank you!
