Why does Safari ask for keychain password when it stores none?
I just started to get a new crop of messages:
"AppName" wants to use the login keychain. Please enter the keychain password.
This is new overnight, and I have not updated any software overnight; AppStore confirms no recent updates. I do not store any passwords in Safari; I do not allow it to store any history, data, or passwords between uses, and it does not sync anywhere (I use a different primary browser). I have not changed the login keychain password. Why would Safari ask for the keychain when it does not store anything or sync with anything?
And: why might apps be asking for the Keychain password when it has not changed or been updated?
