Apple TV iCloud photos

I can’t get my Apple TV to connect to my iCloud photos anymore. Everything else on the Apple TV works just fine, but iCloud just gives me a message that it can’t communicate with the server. I’ve completely powered down, tried rebooting, and even reset to factory settings. Nothing has worked so far.

It’s a model A1469

When using 2 factor authentication on an older device you need to enter the password and code together, and there is a time limit. To make the best use of that time enter the password, then request the code, and add it to the end of the password
