Adjusting print margins on safari

I'm using MacOs Mohave version 10.14.5 and browsing the web using Safari version 12.1.1. When I try to print a webpage, the left margin is very small and the top margin is so small, text is often cut off. How do I adjust the margins? I have tried the following: Go to print; go to papersize & choose manage custom size; then created a new custom size that is 8.5x11 with 1" margins all around. I still get the same tight margins regardless. Help please!

A webpage is not a word processing document where you have control over the margins, nor does Safari provide this margin control in the print panel. If you have certain print margin requirements, you can create a custom paper name with the explicit margin settings that you require, and then refer to it in the Safari print panel under Paper size. You manage custom paper sizes from the bottom of that Paper size selector.

Some websites use custom print stylesheets that alter the appearance and content of what is actually printed. You will have no control over those remote settings.
