Importing 24 bit wav files into GarageBand

Hi everyone.

I am considering using GarageBand for mixing multiple instrument and vocal tracks and have never used it for mixing purposes before. I’m using an I-phone XR or possibly buying a new I-Mac desktop computer. My question is can GarageBand import multiple tracks of different instruments in the WAV 24 bit configuration and then mix them using the application to make a final mix?

Thanks!

if you mean a single file that contains multiple track information, no, each instrument would have to be its own separate file

if you mean each file is a recording of a single instrument, then yes, you can drag and drop all the files into a GB project and each will appear on its own track
