My iPhone 7 screen has small/minute black horizontal lines all over the display screen

Hi there, I recently encountered an issue on my iPhone 7, while I was using it, the screen flickered a bit then these small black lines appeared all over my display... I mean the display is still working the touch response is also still working. now initially these lines automatically disappeared after a while so I thought that everything was fine but then these lines reappeared after around 48 hours. And by god's grace I have never dropped my phone till date so I guess we can rule out the possibility of breaking the internal display. What to do??? please help!!!!

Hi Mokksh,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I understand you're seeing horizontal lines on your display.

To clarify, do these persist even after you Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch? Do you see the lines even during startup while the Apple logo displays? In some cases, restarting your device might clear up this behavior.

If you find that it persists after, I recommend that you Contact Apple Support to look into options for your next steps.

Yup, these lines are visible on start up screen as well, I tried restoring my device as well, still no luck.

And one more thing!! These lines are not exactly visible on a black background, and to be honest, at first glance, no body realises that there is something wrong with my display it’s only after using it for a while that people notice that my screen is a bit hazy...

I tried to click a picture of it as well but the camera mo my other iPhone is not picking up those lines properly

Might be something related to hardware I guess, the connection between the logic board and the screen might have become loose or probably the screen is faltering
