I think I may have a virus on my iMac
A couple of people have notified me they received an email from me with a link that was not from me. I would like to delete this from my iMac/Mohave OS system

There are no Mac viruses. You don't have one, or any other type of malware that would do such a thing.
This is simple spoofing. It's very common. Some spammer has your address and is sending our garbage with your email address in the "Sender" field. Doesn't matter that it didn't actually come from you.
