Can't validate my artwork for a podcast

I'm at a loss why Apple is rejecting my podcast. The error is: Podcast artwork must be between 1400 x 1400 and 3000 x 3000 pixels, JPG or PNG, in RGB color space, and hosted on a server that allows HTTP head requests.

The image I am using is 1500x1500 and is RGB. I am not aware of any server configuration that would cause a problem.

any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Thanks Roger,

The problem is generated through a theme I am using in wordpress. I have entered the full URL, but the them is removing the domain. I have solved the problem by directing the podcast through feedburner and passing it on to Apple. Feedburner allowed more direct control of the meta information.

The image itself is OK, but your 'itunes:image' tag reads

<itunes:image href="/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/podcast_logo.png" />

You need the full URL.

That's really wierd of Wordpress, which ought to know better: obviously you can't have a relative URL in a feed.
