Internet recovery with EFI password enabled error -2004F Hi, I am not new to macOS, I've been using them since 2009 and reinstalled the system many times but this situation is challenging. The SSD on my MacBook Pro 2018 was wiped. The laptop automatically goes to internet recovery after startup, but every time fails with error -2004F. Some google searches suggested that it is a connection problem. I connect via wifi and it seems stable. The EFI has a password (which is known). I assume it doesn't allow me to Reset NVRAM. Loading from USB devices was blocked in security settings (I know it is paranoid but still) Any solutions or my only option is Apple center?

Have an EFI lock when trying to boot in Command R I somehow have an EFI lock when booting up Command R and I dont recall setting it up, how can I bypass? Its a 2017 iMac Catalina

Do you mean like these entries in Terminal?

If so, you don't. Unless you're trying to make your Mac unbootable.

MUCH more information is needed.

EFI is required to boot your Mac. You want it not to boot?
