I have iphone 6 as i had been updated the version to 12 i having the issue of the my phone battery is draining so quickly......

I did similar to you... come to find out, the time was coincidence with my battery dying - it can be a battery loosing it's life if you have enough hours on the phone. iPhone 6 is an older model and depend when you bought it, I'd say especially if you've never replaced the battery - that could be it.
