transfer photos from iPhone to PC

Every time I wanted to transfer photos I connected my iPhone to a USB port of my PC and a menu appeared on my PC screen guiding me to start the transfer. That was in the past. Now my PC does not react when I connect the iPhone to it, What is going wrong?

transfering iPhone photos to a PC Hi I can't see my gallery photos most of the time I connect my iPhone 6 to my PC which is an hp all-in-one desktop using USB cable. I checked all the USB ports. They work for charging the mobile but 80 percent of the times there isn't any message on my iPhone, if I trust this PC and when I try to open the "phone" folder, it says this folder is empty. Half of these times there isn't any "phone" among the drives on computer! Can anyone help me?

If you are using iTunes, make sure that you are running the latest version of iTunes and try again. This may be of some help.
