Mojave compatibility...??(Mac Pro: 2010 Mid-Tower...Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way...!!;)

Mojave means that the sun is setting on 32 bit apps. They will run for now, with a warning, that this app is not optimized for your Mac and you should contact the developer, because in the future it won't run. But....the future isn't here YET. Your 32 bit apps will work okay for NOW. But sooner rather than later, Apple will eliminate all support for 32 bit apps. all apps will have to be 64 bit, when Mojave is finalized, or whatever OS comes along to replace it. When exactly will that happen? I don't know. Nobody does, but Apple. and they don't post or reply here, for sure. As for your display cards, you should probably reverse 'em. Mojave (and High Sierra will not install without a Metal Capable display card (video card) in the fastest PCI-X slot. It will run a firmware check before installing, thus the need for two restarts. I don't think that your 5770 qualifies, but your RX-580 does. Apple has said that the Pulse RX 580 does support Mojave, so you're good on that point. roughly speaking. The other PCI-X slots support 4x but not 16x. That is for the bottom one, which I think is intended for the graphics/display card alone. As for more headaches, I think that's it. I'm not 100% sure that your MSI Armor fan OC will work right off the bat, but it should do. Usually support for that card is built into the OS, and we have to go with what Apple has said for sure works with Mojave, or probably ought to work with Mojave, but they can't test each and every display card on the market for compatibility. IF you like you can check out xlr8yourmac.com for other Mac users' experiences with other cards. I think your RX-580 can run 2 displays at the same time. If your 5770 doesn't make the cut when you go to Mojave, then that's what you may have to do.
