I was thinking of buying refurbished ipad pro 10.5. However I am not sure whether spending that much of money on a refurbished product is a good idea! Please suggest what should I do? Also how long can i expect it to last if i am careful with it? Are there any disadvantages in repair or return policy compared to new ipad?

If you buy a refurbished product directly from Apple, you will have a full warranty which means that any manufacturer defects would be repaired for free. And you can buy Applecare if you want which would cover accidental damage with a co-payment. There is no way to predict how long any electronic device may last.
