Every time I try to connect to school or hôtel wifi that has no password (open network) it does not work. I know that it is not the WiFi that doesn’t work because it works fine on my phone but when I try on my laptop it says no network.

Have any anti-virus or anti-malware add-ons, or any network-monitoring and firewall packages, or similar apps, been installed here?
