Error installing Mojave

Trying to install Mojave on my 2015 iMac I get this message "An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again. " Trying to install Mojave. What do I do to fix this. Re download Mojave? If so how do I do this?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.13

If you want to download a fresh copy of the Mojave installer, you have to trash the copy that is now in your Applications Folder. You will be prompted to enter your administrative password to trash it. Then you can download a fresh copy.
