Apple Mail: Missing period in confirmation links

When creating a new account with Arte.tv, a confirmation link is sent to the specified email address. In the Apple Mail app, a period is missing from this link. Instead of id.arte.tv, it displays idarte.tv. The link is displayed correctly in Android Gmail. The error therefore lies with the Apple Mail app (version 16.0 (3776.700.51.11.8), macOS 14.8.3)!
