Floating keyboard freezes on iPad running iOS 26

While not a fix, I have found a work around. In two of my note taking apps, the floating keyboard works properly: SimpleNote and Notebooks (Alfons Schmid). So I can compose my emails there and paste them in Mail. It’s a pain but does provide a reasonable work around.
