Goldman Saks Apple Card not good.

Apple Card/Goldman Saks is not a good card. Statements aren’t concise & clear, hard to get them on the phone if there’s a problem, they reported me to credit unions over a $2.00 bill they never sent me. Beware of this card.

I have had zero issues with the Apple Card and use it almost exclusively for purchases totaling $24,000 each year. I don't even bother with the statements and can reconcile transactions easily just by using the Transaction History. You can pay the bill multiple times each month (in fact multiple times each day if you wish) and the Wallet clearly shows how much is due and when to pay to avoid any finance charges. At least 2% of my purchases are refunded back to the Apple Cash card, which is basically free money.

Sorry you had a bad experience, but your unique situation is clearly not what is seen by everyone. I would recommend it to anyone with an iPhone.

Exactly...and cards that also connect with your iPhone with even better % for cash rebates. American Express Blue Cash is giving 6% on certain items.

There are many Credit Cards that have gimmicks for the Cash Back such as you having to choose specific categories or on the AMEX Blue Card a limit on purchases for the 3% cashback only at Grocery, Gas, and online purchases where it then drops to 1%.

I prefer no gimmicks, just give me 2% cash back on every Apple Pay transaction without having to jump through any hoops and I am happy. There are promotions for specific retailers at times for additional cash back, but that does not change my charging habits.

Given your stated hardcopy preferences, an entirely online, device-based, and electronically-billed card seems potentially problematic.

As for options with Apple Card, There are third-party services which integrate accounts, billing including with Apple Card, and other financial services, though that requires some setup, and trading privacy.

And there are other payment cards which can provide postal mail and paper billing, snd that are not tied to devices.

Yes, the Blue Cash Preferred is a very good card. Paying 6% on first $6000 in groceries and subscriptions is a good cash back. However, the funds are only distributed at the end of the statement period and must be applied towards the statement balance. Most other purchases are just 1%. Apple Card paying 2% at nearly all merchants will offer better Daily Cash Back for some expenses.

You have to look at your biggest expenses and see what card(s) offer the best cash back. You have to also factor in that Apple Card has no annual fee. I believe the BCP is $99.

Correct the AMEX Blue Cash Preferred card that offers the 6% cashback on certain purchases does have a limit on the dollar amount and also has an annual fee. The Blue Cash card without the annual fee is 3% cashback with those same limits on purchases and then reverts to a 1% cashback. Purchases not made within those specific categories of Grocery, Gas, and Online will only see the 1% cashback.
