iPhone 15 Pro disconnects from Mac mini via USB-C

iPhone 15 pro keeps disconnecting from Mac Mini using USB C cable

I have an iPhone 15 pro running 26.2 and a MacBook Mini M1 running 15.6.1. When I connect with a USB C cable it connects and shows up in the finder, apple music and photos etc. But, it quickly disconnects before it can finish syncing or downloading music.
