Wired Carplay not working on 26.2 and iPhone 17

I have a new 17 with 26.2 software and it will not connect to Wired CarPlay in my car. What can I do. I have everything allowed.

  • Did you remove your old iPhone from your car's console?
  • Are you using the cable that came with your iPhone, or a different one? The cable must support both data and charging.
  • Is Settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps and Features > Is CarPlay enabled?
  • Is Siri enabled?
  • Try resetting network settings in Settings > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

  1. My car doesn't hold a phone profile. It connects to carplay as if it is new every time.
  2. I use a cable that has USB to USBC. Not many cars before 2022 were USBC ready. But it is charging it and it does transfer to my laptop. Tried multiple cords all charge jsut wont connect to car play.
  3. Checked my cars firmware and its updated as well
  4. Everything is enabled. Siri Carplay etc.
  5. Already tried that one too.


No dice.
