How do I mute in-game ads on iPhone like Android does?

ads dont follow mute settings. android lets you shut off speaker access at the app level outside the game! step it up apple! Android does it. nobody wants to have music interrupted for slot machine sounds or endless ads about the game with no ads. Oh the irony! Any third party solutions? I’m tired of my music or audio book getting hijacked. I’ll watch the ad. Just lay off my speakers. And no the devs aren’t hurting for cash, android does it and they are doing fine. And no, many ads don’t allow for paying out of the adds. I’ll pay for the darn app. It’s not about the money. It’s not even about watching the ads. I’ll watch!! Just lay off my speakers! Help please!

Blocking Ads in Games:

A. App Store:

Paid-For Version: Seeing the advertisements is something that you are agreeing to upon using your Apple Account. However, paying for a certain version, if offered, that provides this, seems the ultimate route to take. Not all apps are available in all countries regions.

B. Web Browser:

As for Online Gaming --the only way I know of blocking ads is to use third-party apps. Rather than using an app, using a certain Web browsers would avoid this. If not played off of a Web Browser, then that would not apply.

C. Recommend this Availability to Apple:

Do your Part: Report this to AppleApple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback Apple receives on this, the more they will know what is their customers prefer, and what and what features to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of your thoughts, if you don't provide them with them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Feature Request" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that you want this to be an option and why. Include the URL to this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

Appreciate the effort but we should stay on point. The question has nothing to do with web browsing nor is it requesting ad blockers. It doesn’t want to unsee ads. It clearly states watching is not a problem. It already points out that paying for an ad free option is not always an option and when it is the money will be paid NO PROBLEM. It absolutely isn’t asking to be read terms and conditions of what it means to have an Apple Account (see how I Italicize it too ;). It wants a solution to mute an app in its entirety (ads and all, from the outside, not the in game set up) in the hopes of not having the speakers hijacked. Savvy?
