Unable to install Apps from the Mac App Store, popup with no buttons except cancel

Check what 3rd party software you have running in the background.

Apparently, there is some kind of scam with apps displaying invisible windows with invisible buttons or something. I don't know the exact details. But Apple will hide any Mac App Store purchase or get buttons if there is any screen recording software running.

I have the same issue with the App Store in accepting the download and installation of an app. The button would show but disappear when ever the cursor was over the window.

I solve it with a macro with Keyboard Maestro. When the window comes up I execute this KM macro:

Note: the key combination is NOT Shift+Option but is Shift + Command.

When the Install window comes up I just press the Shift+Command+i key combination. You can use your own key combination.

I've done all of the usual "fixes": Safe Mode boot, check that I had no "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus or VPN apps on mu Mini, numerous reboots, update to Sequoia 15.7.3, etc.
