How do I get Gmail to appear in Apple's Mail? All emails appear in Google gmail. The emails do not appear in Apple's mail. I use iMac OS 26.2.

Apple email worked fine until the latest OS (26.2) update. All email is in Gmail when I log in to Google. Some the Gmail is populated to Apple Mail, but most is not. I have deleted Gmail from Apple Mail and added it back. I still do not get all Gmail in Apple Mail.
Have you rebooted the Mac lately?
You might also boot the Mac in safe mode and delete/reinstall the Gmail account while operating then.

Some weird behavior can often be fixed with safe mode. It prevents third-party interference with the OS and allows it to clear caches and do other housekeeping.
Have you any related rules for email handling defined in the Mail app?
You might reach out to Gmail support for additional guidance. It would be on them to ensure that their product work properly within the upgraded OS.

You need to add your Gmail account to the Mail app.
