This is a user to user only forum. You're not speaking with Apple here. I won't mail my devices in for trade-in credit as I always do my trades in an Apple Store, even if I purchase online.

In many places Apple uses "trade-in "partners" to handle such transactions. If one is underperforming, Apple needs to know but won't see complaints here. They cannot fix what they cannot see.

I upgraded my old iPhone 13 ProMax to a iPhone 17 Pro Max and did the Apple Trade in. My Trade in package was in the same package as my new iPhone17PM. I too thought the packaging to ship my 13PM for trade in was a little lacking in protection. I still had my better protection original 13PM packaging but had the problem of transferring FedEx shipping label over, so I used the one sent and added the original screen cover to help protect more in the packaging. Don't know if it helped, but FedEx got my trade in delivered safely and I received agreed trade in value. Like the other users say; do send Apple some feed back on your experience.
