How can I accept Apple Terms in Apple Watch first screen after update if touchscreen is not working?
After a 7k swim a few months ago, my Apple Watch 9 touchscreen stopped working. The usual advice: restart, force restart, unpair & repair did not help. Everything else but the touchscreen works fine: both buttons work and the sensors keep recording all my health data in my iPhone Health app and Fitness app. For a while, I was able to manage the watch from my iPhone/Accessibility/Duplicate Watch. But it does not work any more. It duplicates the watch, but the touchscreen does no work.
My new Ultra 3 will arrive in 4 weeks, but in the meantime I would like to continue to use my watch for notifications, alarms, time, workouts and health data.
After upgrading yesterday to the latest watchOS 26.2, the first screen in watch is to accept Apple Terms (image) which I cannot do. I tried to activate Assistive Touch/Gestures in Apple Watch app/Accessibility but either I do not know how to activate it or this does not work for accepting Apple Terms.
Any suggestion how can I go beyond this initial screen? I will be just 4 more weeks....
