Disappointments with IOS 26.1: Clearing Safari History and Recently Saved

When I am using Safari, It now takes a lot of extra taps to clear Safari History and then get back to Favorites. This is not an upgrade, it now takes more time and effort to clear history.

What's with the big "Recently Saved" bookmark on the Folders page of Safari ? This is big and useless, gets in the way and blocks out the page to where you have to scroll down to get back to Favorites or Bookmarks.

If these things could be fixed on the upcoming 26.3 update, I'd be truly grateful.
