After OS 26 update watch will not keep outdoor cycle screen on for entire ride. Keeps going back to regular face i have to then put in pass code to get back to the workout screen. Anybody know how to keep the workout screen on during entire ride.

Ingo, thanks for replying to my watch going back to home screen while on a bike ride. I did go to “workout” but I did not see “when in session”. or a “return to app” tab. I have a series 7 watch. I did download the 26.2 update yesterday. The info on it did not mention a fix for the workout screen but I did do a test just walking around with it on a. Bike Ride screen and it appeared to work better and did not default back to Home Screen. I’ll see how it works tomorrow on a real bike ride.
Did you make sure, that in the Watch App -> Workout -> When In Session -> Return to App is enabled?
Also make sure, that "Wake on Wirst Raise" switched on.
