Mac mini: Clicked suspicious link, what next?

Hi all

i have a Mac mini. In a moment of not concentrating, I clicked a link in an email without checking the sender.

It took me to a website that had ERROR across the top. I immediately closed the browser and deleted the email.

I then disconnected the internet connection.

Changed the master password on my password manager, apple account, banking & super accounts.

Do I need to do anything else? Should I be installing a malware thing to remove any malware that may have been installed?

I do have a Norton Subscription not yet expired, but I had removed it as the Mac was running super slow from it. Should I reinstall it? Or is there a better one?

please be kind - I’m already beating myself up as I’m normally absolutely diligent with this stuff, and the email was about Amazon Prime which is due around now.

thanks!

You did everything right — outside of clicking a link in the email message of course, an act that is in itself completely harmless on Macs.

No other action is required, or justified. You really didn't need to change passwords, although it's not a bad idea to do that once in a while anyway.
