iMessage not working

Anyone find a solution to the iMessage / FaceTime messages not ‘activated’?? Just set up new phone with update and I am not able to FT or iMessage 😳

Hi,

Let me have a try.

Are you also porting a number? In case there is/has been a temporary number on your new sim, that can be the cause of your problem. ---> ask your new provider to push MSISDN to the network. That pushes all the most recent data they have on their system to your (e)SIM.

I have had this a few times recently.


Another possible cause: you are registred on more devices. Make sure all are deregistered from FaceTime and iMessage. Give all a hard reset. Try again on the new phone and wait for the result.
