iPhone 16 Pro messages and email app not opening fully after iOS 26.1 update

Since updating to the new operating system, frequently when I open my messages or email (using Apple mail app) the page doesn’t open all the way, the bottom 2/3 of the screen is just blank. I am attaching 2 screenshots to demonstrate the problem.
