how to remove iMessages from my iPad but retain them on my phone?

To remove iMessages from your iPad but keep them on your iPhone:
- Turn Messages in iCloud OFF on the iPad
- Choose Disable & Delete
- Turn iMessage OFF if you don’t want new messages
- Delete conversations on the iPad (they won’t sync)
Your iPhone retains everything.
