App Store not working on Mac mini: Unable to update, download, or purchase apps

I cannot update, download or purchase anything in the app store. I made a purchase that charged my card through the App Store, then it states it cannot be completed and timed out. I've tried everything, including resetting my Mac mini to factory settings, tried resetting my router and using a different internet. Not sure what else to try.

It sounds really frustrating, especially after trying so many steps already. A few things you can check:

  1. Make sure you are signed in with the correct Apple ID in System Settings and in the App Store.
  2. Try signing out of the App Store, restarting your Mac, then signing back in.
  3. Check for any billing or payment issues at Settings > Apple ID > Payment and Shipping. Even small billing problems can block downloads.
  4. You can also test your connection to Apple’s servers by visiting Apple’s System Status page. If the App Store is having issues, it will show there.

If nothing helps, you can contact Apple Support directly: Contact - Official Apple Support. They can check your account and help with the purchase that timed out.
