iPhone 11: Future updates and support

Hi everyone!

As an owner of iphone 11 for 5 years i have reasonable questions bc i dont know should i buy iphone 17 in 2026 or i can wait till 2027.

1. What updates will iphone 11 recieve? (like ai features or smh like this)
2. In what year it will be end of updates of 11?

The iPhone 11 will never receive Apple Intelligence.

As for iOS updates, iOS 26 represents the sixth major iOS update for the iPhone 11. iPhones typically get four to six major updates, so it would be extremely surprising if the iPhone 11 was eligible for iOS 27. However, Apple has made no official announcement about iOS 27 compatibility, one way or the other.
