iCloud Drive shows 23.5GB of phantom storage
Hello,
so I have two apple devices, an iPhone and a Mac. I am also subscribed to iCloud for 50GB of space there.
The problem I am currently facing is that on both my devices (under my appleID -> iCloud) it shows that iCloud Drive takes up 23,5GB of space. However, I am not aware of any files that are stored on either of my devices or on my iCloud.
In the process of fixing this I already deleted all the files that were indeed stored on the drive. I tried turning OFF and back ON the syncing on both of my devices. Nothing works. When I look on Finder on my Mac, no files are shown in iCloud Drive, when I look on my iPhone, no files either. I even looked on iCloud.com to possibly see any hidden files, but there are no files shown either. Yet it still takes 23,5GB of my iCloud storage.
Any ideas on why this might be happening? And how to fix this?
Thank u
