AirPods 4 won’t connect to iPhone 17 Pro

Hi! I’ve got a new iPhone 17 Pro and I’m trying to connect my AirPods 4 with noise cancellation. Unfortunately, the double-tap on the case isn’t working, so I can’t reset them or put them into pairing mode.

The iPhone can see the AirPods, but when I tap Connect, it says the connection is unsuccessful.

I’ve already tried forgetting the device and restarting the iPhone. With my MacBook everything works perfectly, but the AirPods still won’t pair with the new iPhone.

Any ideas what else I can try?

Did you try to unpair them from your MacBook and then pair them to your iPhone?

Can you pair them to another iPhone, you have control over?

Since the iPhone 17 just has been released, this might as well be an iOS issue.

Did you check this article, to be sure you did not miss a step, resetting the AirPods 4?

Yes, I’ve read it, thank you so much.

But the issue is that the double-tap isn’t working — the case doesn’t react at all. I only see a green light, it never turns white, so I can’t reset it for some reason :(
