How to stopiPhone 7 screen highlighting when I touch the screen
My iphone7 keeps highlighting when I touch the screen. How do I stop this please?

Replace the screen....(the digitizer is failing).....but Apple may not have replacement screens available any longer at this point.
Even if they do, you would be looking at $200-250 or so. Add another $70-80 if he battery needs replacement as well.
The money would probably be better spent towards a new phone, but your call on that.
