UNiDAYS support

Unidays denied my academic status despite sending my university ID card and even employment contract. I work for the American University of Beirut, a university with its HQ in New York City. I’m a full-time faculty member, so there should be no doubt about my eligibility. However, UNiDAYS asked twice for my ID and twice for my contract. When I worked for a UK university, my ID card sufficed to get the discount.

I now wonder whether there is a bias against universities in the Global South? Is this policy aligned with Apple’s values?
